Charda Realtors is located right at 327, Brahmanipura Chauraha. Being at a chauraha means we are right at the crossroads, so there’s never a moment of silence. You can hear the traffic and the people at the shops nearby all through the day. The office is a simple place where we manage real estate stuff for people in the neighborhood. We’ve got a couple of old desks and some plastic chairs for when people come by to chat. It’s the kind of place where someone might drop in just to say hello or ask about the price of a plot nearby. We don't really have a fancy website or a big marketing team; we just do our work and talk to whoever comes through the door. The floor is tiled but some of them are cracked from years of use. We usually keep the door open to let some air in, though that also lets in the dust. The weather gets quite hot, so we rely on a couple of old ceiling fans that click while they spin. It’s not a high-pressure environment, just a steady stream of local business. We keep our records in big physical registers mostly, though we do use the computer for some things now. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, but it works for us and the people who live around the chauraha. We’ve been here a long time now and seen the streets change.
