Chandra Minerals

Chandra Minerals is located right in the middle of Belanganj, on the first floor of Shanti Market. If you know this area, you know Shanti Market is a place that has been around for ages. It’s not one of those new, shiny malls with air conditioning everywhere. It’s a traditional market where people come to get things done. We are up on the first floor, which helps us stay a little bit away from the main noise of the street level, though the sounds of the market still reach us. Working with minerals in a place like Belanganj means we are always surrounded by trade and talk. Our office is pretty basic, just some desks and files and samples of the minerals we deal with. We don't see the point in spending money on fancy furniture when the work is what matters. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who come by to check on their orders. The hallways in Shanti Market can be a bit narrow and dark, but once you find our door, it's pretty straightforward. We’ve been part of this community for a while and we know most of the other shop owners nearby. It’s a busy life, but it suits us well enough. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, day after day, without making much of a fuss about it.
