Bone Hospital

This hospital is over in the Pratappura Main Road area, right where the old RTO building used to be. Most people in Agra Ho know the spot because it’s a big landmark. The building has a lot of history to it. It’s not one of those shiny new hospitals you see in the magazines. It has character, maybe a few cracks in the paint here and there, but it’s sturdy. We handle a lot of cases every single day. Since we are on the main road, we get people coming in from all over the city and even the outskirts. The lobby is almost always busy. I spend a lot of time talking to families who are worried about their relatives. We try to keep things moving along. The doctors are usually rushing from one room to another. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it. The smell of disinfectant is everywhere, which I guess is a good thing for a hospital. During the summer, the coolers are working overtime. We have a small canteen nearby where we grab lunch when we can. It’s just a busy, honest place where we try to fix bones and get people moving again. There isn't much time for fancy speeches or polished brochures. We just look at the injuries, do the surgeries, and manage the recovery beds. It’s a long day for everyone here, but we are used to the pace of this old building.
