Bhagat Travels

We are located right beside Anjana Cinema in Nehru Nagar. It is a pretty well-known spot, so most people don't have a hard time finding us. The office for Bhagat Travels is usually open quite early because that is when the phone starts ringing. My brother and I take turns sitting at the front. It is a bit of a tight space when three or four people come in at once to talk about their trips, but we manage. We’ve got some old calendars on the wall and a map of the Agra area that’s started to yellow at the edges. Being in 282002 means we see a lot of local faces every day. Sometimes people just stop by to ask for directions because of the cinema nearby. The afternoon sun hits the front door pretty hard, so we keep the curtains drawn during the middle of the day. We don't have any big speeches about what we do, we just write down the bookings and make sure the vehicles are where they need to be. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking on mobile phones. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we go back to using the old diaries to keep track of everything. It is just a regular life here, trying to keep the business going and making sure we don't miss any calls. It feels like we have been part of this street for ages now.
