You can find us over at Pathwari in the Belanganj area. It’s an old part of town and it stays crowded pretty much all day long. Khandelwal Agencies has been here long enough that we know every pothole on the street outside. Our space is tucked away at 27/41, and honestly, if you aren’t looking for the sign, you might miss us among all the other shops. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and stacks of paperwork. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or dealing with deliveries coming in and out. It’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a steady one. My uncle used to say that as long as the doors open on time, the rest will figure itself out. We have a few desks that have seen better days and a ceiling fan that makes a clicking noise when it’s on high. It’s just how the office is. People from around the neighborhood stop by, sometimes just to chat for a minute before heading back into the heat. We don't do anything flashy. We just handle the agency side of things and make sure the accounts are right. It gets dusty being so close to the main road, so there's always a bit of cleaning to do. We just keep at it and handle things as they come. There is no point in making things more complicated than they need to be.
