Bansal General Store

Bansal General Store is our family-run place in Agra. We are at 40/6 in the Balkeshwar area, right across from the Kapda Mandir. Most people find us by looking for that landmark. It’s a good spot to be because there are always people walking around that part of town. We keep the store open long hours to make sure we are there when neighbors need something. It’s a basic general store, so we have a bit of everything piled up. Sometimes it’s hard to find things if you don't know where to look, but we can usually point you in the right direction. We don't have a lot of help, so it's usually just one or two of us behind the counter. The building is older, but it works for what we need. We've been in the 282004 area for quite a while now. We see a lot of the same people every morning and evening. Agra can get really hot, so we try to stay in the shade of the shop. We don't do any big marketing or have any special slogans. We just sell things like soap, flour, and snacks. It’s just a normal way to earn a living. We keep the books by hand mostly and just try to stay honest with everyone who walks through the door. It is a simple life and we like it.
