Aiena Traditional

Aiena Traditional is located right on Nh-2 in Banghara. Being on the highway means we get a lot of dust and the constant sound of trucks zooming past. It’s a different vibe than being in the middle of a city. We deal with traditional items, and our shop is filled with various colors and textures that stand out against the grey of the road outside. We started this because we wanted to keep certain styles alive in our local area. The building is simple, and we try to keep it as organized as we can, though it gets cluttered when new shipments arrive. Most of our visitors are people driving through or locals from Banghara who know we are here. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us showing the items we have and helping people find what they need for weddings or festivals. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. We’ve had some good conversations with travelers who just stopped for a break. Working on the Nh-2 has its challenges, like the noise and the traffic jams, but it also means we meet people from all over. We just keep things honest and work at our own pace. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves without too much fuss.
