Bajwa Rubber Industries

We have been over here at 12/67 in Rui Ki Mandi for quite a while now. Dealing with rubber is not the cleanest work, but it is what we know. Most days involve cutting, molding, and making sure the orders for Shanganj locals get out the door. It gets pretty loud in the shop when the machines are running, and there is always that specific smell of burnt rubber in the air that never really goes away. We just handle things as they come. Sometimes the power goes out, or a delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow lanes of the market, and we just have to figure it out. It is a busy spot, and there is always someone dropping by to ask about a specific part or just to chat while we work. We do not have a fancy office or anything like that. It is just us, some heavy machinery, and piles of black rubber waiting to be turned into something useful. My hands are usually stained by the end of the shift, but that is just how it goes here. We make gaskets, seals, and other bits people need for their machines. It is not glamorous work, but it keeps the neighborhood going. We try to keep the stacks organized, but things get messy when we are rushing to finish a batch. If you walk down the street near Shanganj, you will probably hear us before you see us.
