Badlas Mart - Sahara Q Shop

Badlas Mart is located over in Dayal Bagh, Agra, specifically at A-1, Radhika Departmental Store on the Main Road in Jai Ram Bagh. This is a pretty well-known part of the city, and being on the main road means we see a lot of people passing by every hour. As a Sahara Q Shop, we try to keep a decent variety of household items on the shelves. The mart is usually quite full of stuff, and it can take a bit of navigating to find exactly what you are looking for if you are new. We have got some old fans that hum while they work, and the light from the front door is usually better than the bulbs inside. Agra’s heat is something we deal with every single day, so we try to keep the shop as cool as possible for anyone coming in. We don't have any polished sales speeches or fancy displays. It is just a place where things are stacked up and ready to be bought. Sometimes the stock comes in late, or the labels are a bit crooked, but that is just how it is. We spend our afternoons restocking the shelves and making sure the floor is relatively clean. It is a lot of routine work, but it keeps the mart going. Most of our regulars are folks from Jai Ram Bagh who just need to grab something on their way home. We just keep at it and stay open until the sun goes down.
