Apna School

We are located at number 509 in the Ganpati Ashiyana area of Sikandara. It is a bit funny because we are right near Holi Public School, which is much bigger than we are. People sometimes get confused and walk into the wrong gate, but we just point them next door. Our place is smaller and feels more tucked away. The building is part of the residential block, so it feels very much like being in a house. We have a small entrance that leads straight into the main hall where we gather the kids. It gets a bit noisy when everyone is talking at once, but that is to be expected. We don't have fancy uniforms or anything like that. The kids just come in and get to work. Most of the families around here in Sikandara know us well. We’ve had siblings and cousins all come through these doors over the years. The furniture is a bit mismatched, and the ceiling fans make a clicking sound, but it gets the job done. We spend our days teaching the basics and making sure no one gets into too much trouble during the breaks. It’s not a complicated operation. We just open the doors in the morning, do our classes, and head home when the sun starts to go down. It’s just our little school in the middle of a busy neighborhood and we like it that way.
