Amayra Clinic

Our clinic is located in Nagla Shankar Lal, within the Shri Nath Puram Colony on Jagner Road. It’s a bit of a way into the colony, so it’s actually a lot quieter than being right on the main Agra road. We’ve been here for a while now, serving the people who live in this specific part of the city. The building is a simple house-style structure that we converted into a working clinic. I usually get here quite early in the morning to open up the metal shutters. Inside, there are a few rooms where the doctor sees the patients. We have a small wooden bench outside under the shade for when it gets very hot in the afternoons. Jagner Road is a familiar route for many, but our little corner is a bit tucked away from the noise. People find us through word of mouth mostly. We don’t have big flashing signs or anything like that. It’s just a plain clinic where you can get your health checked when you aren't feeling well. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question. It feels more like a community spot than a formal medical office. We keep things pretty informal around here. If the doctor is running a bit late, we just tell people and they usually don’t mind waiting a few minutes. We have a small fan that hums in the corner and a few plastic chairs for the lobby. It’s not much to look at, but it’s where we do our work every day for the colony folks. It is a simple life running a clinic here.
