Ahmed Architecture

We set up shop here in Taj Nagari Phase-1, specifically in the Mmig section. It's shop number 4-119, right on Fatehabad Road. Being near R K Puram Phase-2 means we get a fair amount of local traffic. Ahmed Architecture isn't a massive operation. It's just a place where we sit down and draw. The walls are covered in old sketches and some photos of buildings worked on over the years. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the cars go by on Fatehabad Road. Other days, the phone calls barely stop. A lot of residential stuff comes our way, helping people figure out how to use their plots of land. Back and forth talks with the city rules and what people actually want takes time. Being realistic is important. If a plan won't work, we say so. Sugarcoating things isn't very helpful. The office gets a bit cramped when more than two people visit at once, but a couple of extra stools usually solves it. We've been around Agra long enough to know how things work here. It’s not always pretty, and sometimes the power goes out, but we keep the pens moving. This is a local business, through and through. Knowing the tea seller down the street and the guy at the hardware store makes it feel like home. We’re just a small part of the community and we keep it simple.
