Agra Upbhokta Bhandar

We are located right in Rajdeep Apartment, specifically at B-3-4. It’s a convenient spot for the people living in Dayal Bagh. We handle a lot of the basic supplies that households need. Being near the New Thana means it’s a safe enough area. The shop is on the ground floor. It’s not very big, but we pack a lot of stuff onto the shelves. I usually spend my mornings checking the inventory and writing things down. We get sugar, oil, and pulses in bulk and then weigh them out. It’s honest work. The neighbors come by and we chat about the local news or the weather. Agra can be very crowded but this part of Dayal Bagh is a bit more relaxed. We have been here for some time now. Some days are slow, especially in the afternoon when everyone is napping. I use a manual scale for some things because it feels more reliable than the electronic ones. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, maybe next Diwali I will get to it. We have those old metal cupboards for the more expensive items. Sometimes the kids from the apartments come in for sweets. I keep a small jar of candy on the counter just for them. It’s a simple operation we run here. No fancy computers, just a notebook and a pen for the accounts. We know our regulars by their voice when they walk in.
