Agarwal Coldrinks

Agarwal Coldrinks is right by the Arjun Nagar Gate in Agra. As you can probably guess from the name, we mostly deal with cold drinks and water, which is very important in a place as hot as Agra. We have been at this spot for quite a while, and the gate is a very busy place with people coming and going all the time. I spend a lot of time making sure the refrigerators are working properly because nobody wants a warm soda when it is forty degrees outside. The shop is simple, with crates stacked up near the walls and a few benches where people can sit for a minute. It gets very crowded during the summer months, and sometimes I barely have time to sit down myself. I also keep some snacks and cigarettes for the travelers and locals who pass through the gate. It is a noisy area with all the horns and people talking, but I like the bustle. My hands are usually cold from reaching into the ice or the fridge all day. We don't have a big corporate story or any mission statements. My father started this, and now I run it. We just focus on keeping the stock full and the drinks cold. It is honest work and it keeps me busy from morning until late at night when the traffic finally thins out. We are just here for anyone who is thirsty.
