You can find us at No. 2459 on the Rathia Bharatpur Road over in Achhnera. It’s a spot that sees a lot of traffic passing through between the bigger towns. We’ve been working with pearls and various kinds of art pieces here for quite some time now. The shop is a bit of a mix of things. We have the jewelry side and then the more artistic items that people like to look at. It’s not a polished place like you’d find in a big city mall, but it’s ours. We spend a lot of time dusting the shelves because the road outside brings in a lot of grit and dust from the passing trucks. We usually have the door open to let some air in, and we watch the traffic go by on Bharatpur Road while we work on our inventory. Most people who stop by are locals from Achhnera or people traveling through who need a gift or something nice for their home. We don’t do any fancy promotions or have a big sales team to pressure anyone. It’s just us behind the counter, showing people the different pearls and explaining where they come from if they happen to ask. We take our time with each person because there’s no reason to rush things in a place like this. At the end of the day, we pack everything away carefully and lock up for the night. It’s a quiet, honest way to make a living for us.
