We've been at Dharma Nagar for quite a while now. Dealing with rubber parts isn't exactly a clean job, but it’s what we know. Most days here are spent around the machines, making sure the molds are right and the material is heating up correctly. Trf Rubber started because there was a need for local supply, and we just kept going with it. It gets pretty hot in the workspace, especially during the summer months, but that's just how the work is. We handle different types of rubber items depending on what people come in asking for. Sometimes it’s small gaskets, other times it’s bigger industrial pieces. The neighborhood knows where we are, right here in the middle of things. We aren't a big factory with hundreds of people, just a small crew getting things done. There’s always a bit of dust and the smell of burnt rubber in the air, which you get used to after a week or two. We don’t do much fancy talking here. If someone needs something made out of rubber, they usually just drop by the shop and show us a drawing or an old part they want copied. We look at it, tell them if we can do it, and then get to work. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us and the folks we help out around here. The machines are loud, but they get the job done eventually.
