Suman Enterprise

Our business, Suman Enterprise, is right at 77, H. G. B. Road in Melarmath. This is a central part of Agartala here in West Tripura. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so most people in the neighborhood know where we are. The shop is on a busy stretch of road, so there’s always a lot of dust and noise from the rickshaws and cars passing by. We deal with a bit of everything, depending on what people are asking for at the time. The shelves are packed, and sometimes things get a bit disorganized behind the counter. I usually get here early to sweep the front and get the ledgers ready. It gets very humid here in Tripura, so we usually have the door wide open to catch any breeze that might come through. We don't have any fancy marketing slogans or a shiny storefront. It’s just an honest place where we try to help out the locals with whatever they need. Sometimes we have to close early if there's a family function or if the weather gets too bad. We know our customers by name, and we often spend more time talking about their families than we do about business. It’s a small, local way of doing things, and that’s just how we like it here on H.G.B. Road. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes, but we get by.
