Rajdeep Masala

You can find us in MG Bazar, which is a pretty central spot in Pratapghar. We are located quite close to the Loknath Ashram, so many people use that as a reference point when they are looking for Rajdeep Masala. The bazar is always a lively place, especially on market days when people come in from the surrounding areas of Tripura West. Our shop is just a basic brick-and-mortar space with some old wooden counters and plenty of bags. We don't have any modern signage or anything like that. It’s mostly just us working behind the counter, weighing out different powders and seeds for the locals. The weather here can be quite damp, so we have to be very careful about how we store everything to keep it fresh. It’s a lot of work, honestly. We spend hours every week just checking the stock and cleaning up. The shop has a specific smell that you only get in a place that’s been selling masalas for years. It’s not a polished store by any means; the floor is a bit uneven and the walls have some cracks here and there. But it’s our place, and we’ve been part of this community for a long time. People come here because they know us and they know we’ve been in the bazar forever. It’s just a small, local business trying to keep things moving day by day in our little corner of Tripura.
