Our office is located right in Ujan Abhoynaga, not too far from the Nrar Post Office. It’s a practical little space where we spend most of our time. We mostly talk to students who are trying to figure out where to go next with their studies. It can be a bit confusing for them, with all the forms and requirements these days. We sit down with them and look over their papers. Sometimes their parents come along too, looking worried about the future. We try to keep things grounded. There are always folders stacked on the desks and a computer that’s usually running three different things at once. Being near the post office makes it easy for us to send off documents when we need to. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is good when you need to concentrate on a complicated application. We’ve seen a lot of kids pass through these doors over the years. Some come back later to tell us how they got on. That’s a nice part of the job. It’s not a corporate environment; it’s more like sitting in a neighbor’s living room and chatting about school. We don't have fancy uniforms or anything. Just us, some pens, and a lot of paper. We try to be helpful without making a big deal out of it. It’s just what we do here in Ujan Abhoynaga.
