Needan Bangla Shakti Foundation

You can find us right by the Dhaleswar Math Chowmuhani Traffic Point. It’s a very recognizable spot in Agartala, especially with all the traffic coming through. The Needan Bangla Shakti Foundation has been here for a bit now. Our office is right in the thick of things. It’s loud and busy, but we’ve gotten used to the noise of the traffic point. We don’t have a lot of space, but we make it work. Most of our time is spent dealing with the local folks who drop in. We don’t have a big staff, so everyone does a bit of everything. There’s no corporate ladder here. We just have our tasks and we get them done. The office is a bit cluttered with books and files, but we know where everything is. Being near Dhaleswar Math means we are easy to find, which helps. We don’t put on any acts or try to look bigger than we are. We’re just a local foundation doing our thing in West Tripura. Some days are busier than others, especially when there’s a lot going on in the city. We usually close up when the sun goes down and the traffic thins out a bit. It’s a straightforward existence. We like the connection to the neighborhood. It’s just how we operate. No bells or whistles, just us at the traffic point, day in and day out, making things happen in our own small way.
