Holy Cross College

Holy Cross College is located out in Durjoynagar, right by the post office in Agartala. It is a bit of a trek from the main part of the city, but the students don't mind the travel. The Principal’s office is usually the first place people go when they have a question about something. We have been here in Tripura for a while, and the buildings have that lived-in feel. It is not a shiny new place, but it works for what we need. You can see the trees surrounding the campus, and during the monsoon, everything turns very green and wet. The students gather in the corridors between classes to talk and share notes. We have people coming from all over the state to study here. Life on campus is pretty quiet most of the time, except when there is an event or a deadline coming up. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, but the classrooms are big enough for everyone. The staff stays busy with paperwork and making sure things are running as they should. It is just a regular college where people come to learn and move on to the next thing in their lives. We see the same faces every morning at the gate. Agartala is growing, but Durjoynagar still feels like its own little corner. We are just glad to be a part of the daily routine here, helping students get through their courses and move forward.
