Diparun Foundation

Our place is over at Santa Nagar, Badharghat. You have to look for C/O Dipali Acharjee to find the exact spot in R.K. Pallim. It’s more of a home-based setup than a big office building. That’s just how we started the Diparun Foundation and we’ve stuck with it. It feels more comfortable this way. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything like that. People usually find us through word of mouth or by asking around the neighborhood. The atmosphere inside is pretty relaxed. We sit around the main table to get our work done. There are always papers everywhere and probably a half-empty cup of tea somewhere nearby. It’s a quiet street for the most part, which is nice when we need to concentrate. We deal with the local community directly. Being in Santa Nagar means we see our neighbors every day. It’s not a polished business environment, but it works for what we do. We don’t follow a strict corporate schedule. If someone needs us, they just show up at the door. We try to keep things helpful and direct. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. We just do the work as it comes and try to stay organized. It’s a simple life here in Badharghat, and we’re just glad to be a part of it. We are just local people doing our bit for the foundation in our own way.
