City Vet Clinic

We are located over in T.G. Krishnagar in Agartala. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, which is actually pretty good for the animals that come in to see us. If you’re looking for the vet clinic, we are the ones with the posters about pet health in the window. The inside smells a bit like antiseptic, which is expected for this kind of place. We’ve got a small exam table and some shelves full of supplies and medicines. It isn’t a huge place, but we manage to fit everyone in eventually. Sometimes a dog will start barking at a cat in the waiting area, and things get a little noisy for a minute or two. That’s just part of the job. I spend a lot of my time cleaning up after the pets, to be honest. It’s not very glamorous work. We don’t have a receptionist most days, so I might be in the back when you walk in. Just give a shout and someone will come out. The floor is tile because it’s much easier to wash down after a long day. Agartala gets pretty dusty, so there’s always a bit of dirt by the front door. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign. Most people find us because they live nearby or their neighbor told them about us over tea. It’s just a simple clinic for the neighborhood pets. We do our best with what we have and keep things moving. The fan on the ceiling wobbles a little, but it keeps us cool.
