Banashree

Being on Lanin Sarani means there is never a quiet moment, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years here at Banashree. The street outside is always full of people and rickshaws, which makes the morning commute a bit of a struggle sometimes. Our building is easy to find if you are looking for it, but it blends in with the others on the block. Inside, things are pretty straightforward. We have our main work area where most of the day is spent. It’s not a big team, just a few of us who know the ropes and don't need much supervision. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Instead, you just walk in and see us working at our desks. There’s usually a pile of folders waiting to be sorted and the phone rings more than you’d think. We take our breaks when we can, often just grabbing a quick snack from the vendors outside on the corner. The lighting in the back is a bit dim, but we managed to get an extra lamp last week which helped. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to make sure everything is handled properly before we head home in the evening. There is no corporate polish here, just people doing their jobs.
