Owens Corning

Our place, Owens Corning, is located at 915/48 in Havalgao. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the bigger cities, but that’s fine with us. The work we do here involves a lot of materials that can be a bit itchy if you aren't careful, so we always wear our gear. Most of the people working here are from the local villages nearby, and we’ve all grown quite close over the years. The facility itself is quite large, but it feels like a small community once you get inside. We have our routines, from the early shift coming in as the sun rises to the late crew heading out in the dark. The roads around Havalgao can be a bit rough, especially after the rains, so getting here sometimes takes a bit longer than you’d expect. Inside the gates, there is always the hum of machines and the smell of the stuff we make. We don’t spend much time in fancy offices; mostly we are out on the floor or in the warehouse checking on things. It’s a practical environment where getting the job done is the main focus. We have a small canteen where we all eat lunch and talk about how the crops are doing or what’s happening in the village. It’s not a flashy job, but it’s steady work that keeps us all going. We just focus on our tasks and try to get through the day safely without much fuss.
