Sai Lakshmi Paints

We set up Sai Lakshmi Paints at 12/567 B on Tanaji Road in Adoni. It’s a busy street, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack the paint buckets. If you walk inside, you'll see rows and rows of cans of all sizes. We have been doing this for a while now, and we know most of the people who live around Tanaji Road. They stop by when they are planning to change the look of their homes. It’s a lot of talking and showing different options. We don't use any fancy sales talk. We just tell them what we have and how much it costs. The floor is concrete and has plenty of spills on it from years of work. Sometimes it’s just one person behind the counter, especially during the lunch hour. We take turns going to the back to eat. The heat can be a bit much in the summer, so we have a couple of old fans that we keep running all day. They don’t do much, but it helps a little. We handle the deliveries ourselves most of the time. If someone needs a lot of cans, we load them into the small truck we keep parked nearby. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we’re quite content with our little corner of Adoni, just doing things our own way.
