R K Minerals

Our yard is at 8/154 in Kannapakunta Village. It is a bit of a trek to get out here, but this is where the work is. We deal with minerals and stones, so the place is always covered in a bit of dust. You can hear the sound of the loaders and the trucks from quite a distance. It’s a small operation, and most of us are from the village itself or just a few miles away. We don't have a big management team; we just decide what needs to be done each morning and get to it. The work is heavy and it can be quite tiring, especially during the hotter months. We have to keep an eye on the quality of the minerals we are getting out. Sometimes the machinery breaks down and we have to spend the whole day fixing it with whatever tools we have. We aren't a big city business with shiny offices. Our office is just a small room with a table and a few chairs for when we need to take a break. People know where to find us if they need a load of minerals. We keep the business simple and just focus on getting the work done right. It is a quiet life out here in Kannapakunta, but we are always busy. There’s no corporate talk here, just plain work and making sure we get the minerals out to the people who bought them.
