Pioneer Engineering Company

Pioneer Engineering Company is located at Ns-1 in Phase 1 of the Adityapur Industrial Area. Being in an industrial zone like this means there’s always a lot of noise and activity. Our shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil from the various engineering jobs we take on. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s where the real work happens. We have various machines lined up, some newer and some that have been with us since the beginning. The roof is high and made of corrugated metal, so it gets a bit loud when it rains. We don’t have a fancy lobby for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in blue overalls or working over a lathe. The air has that metallic tang to it that you only find in places like this. We spend a lot of time looking at technical drawings on a messy table in the corner. Adityapur is a tough place to work sometimes, but it’s where we belong. We’ve seen the industrial area change over the years, but our spot at Ns-1 has stayed pretty much the same. We don’t do much in terms of advertising because we are usually busy with the orders on the bench. It’s just a group of us who know how to handle tools and fix things. That’s the long and short of it. We just keep the machines running every single day.
