Out here at Plot No. Ns-3 in the first phase of the Adityapur Industrial Area, things stay pretty loud. Being right on the Main Road means there is always a lot of traffic passing by, which can make it a bit of a headache to pull a lorry into the gate sometimes. Cordoba Engineering has been sitting on this plot for a while now. We deal with various engineering parts and assemblies. Our workshop is a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is kept. Most of the guys here started as apprentices and just stayed on because it’s steady work. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. Usually, we just answer the phone and see what needs to be machined or welded. The floor is concrete and has plenty of stains from oil and years of heavy use. During the summers, it gets really hot under the tin roof, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes off the road. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially when the heavy grinders are going. We just try to keep the machines in good shape so they don’t break down in the middle of a job. If you’re coming down the Main Road, you can’t really miss us once you get into the 1st Phase area. We just do the work that comes our way and keep things moving day by day.
