We've been at Duplex No. 3 for a good while now. It’s right on Plot No. 7 in Ward 4b / A. Adipur is a busy place, especially around here in Kachchh. Most days start early with the trucks coming in. There is always a layer of dust on the windows because of the coke we handle, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the yard. The office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we get the paperwork sorted. Sometimes the heat in Kachchh gets to you, so we keep the fans running all day long. People stop by to talk about orders or just to see how things are moving. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of weights and piles. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just us here in the duplex, making sure the loads go out when they are supposed to. Some of the guys have been with us since the start. We drink a lot of tea while looking over the schedules. It gets loud when the machinery is going, but you get used to the noise after a week. We just focus on getting the day's tasks done before the sun goes down and the gate gets locked up for the night.
