Narang Tractors

Our warehouse is situated at 2/55 in Vandanmedu, which is a fairly quiet area until the harvest season starts. Being located in Kattapana, we see a lot of people who really depend on their machines for their daily livelihood. Narang Tractors isn't one of those shiny dealerships with glass walls and air conditioning. It's more of a real working warehouse where things are always a bit greasy and there’s usually a tractor part sitting on a workbench somewhere. We spend a lot of our time looking through thick catalogs or digging through wooden crates to find that one specific bolt or filter a customer needs. Farmers come in with mud on their boots and tell us stories about their crops or the weather. We listen and try to help them get their equipment back to work as fast as possible. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the winding mountain roads around here, and we have to explain the delay to waiting customers. It’s not always easy keeping everyone happy. The office is just a small corner with an old desk and a lot of messy paperwork. We don't use any fancy software; we just write everything down in a big ledger. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and getting our hands dirty with oil, but that’s the nature of this business. We’ve been here long enough that people know our faces and know where the wearhouse is located near the main road.
