Vimala Bai Transport

Vimala Bai Transport is based out of Ranjani Kubeer, at address 1-58/2. Running a transport business isn't always easy, but it’s what we know. We have a few vehicles that we keep running to help people move their goods from one place to another. It’s mostly local stuff, but we go where the work takes us. Our office is just a small room where we keep the keys and the logbooks. It’s not fancy, and we usually have grease on our hands from checking the engines. We don't have a big fleet or a high-tech tracking system; we just rely on our drivers and our phones to get things where they need to go. Some days the roads are bad or a truck breaks down, and those are the long days when we don't get much sleep. But when a job goes smoothly and everything arrives on time, it feels good. We started this because we liked being on the move and didn't want to be stuck behind a desk all day. People in Ranjani know us, and they know if they need something moved, they can just come by and talk to us. We don't do much marketing because our work speaks for itself. It’s just us, the trucks, and the road ahead. We spend a lot of time at the roadside dhabas talking to other drivers and figuring out the best routes. It’s a hard life but it’s ours, and we take pride in getting the load there.
