Ss Marbles And Granites

Down here in Bhainsa at number 58, we’ve been running Ss Marbles And Granites for a while. Nirmal is a quiet enough area, but our yard stays fairly busy with locals who are putting in new floors or fixing up their kitchens. We keep a good variety of marble and granite stacked up. It’s not a huge operation, but we have enough to keep us on our feet all day. The stone comes in from the quarries and we have to sort it by color and quality. It’s a lot of heavy work, especially when the sun is beating down in the Nirmal heat. We have a couple of guys who help us load the carts and trucks. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff; we just rely on people knowing we’re here at this address. The shop is just a simple room with a table and a few chairs for when customers want to sit and talk about prices. We try to keep our prices where people can afford them without too much haggling. It’s just honest work, moving stone from one place to another. We get a bit of satisfaction seeing a truck drive off full of slabs that we picked out. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do, and we’ve been doing it a long time. We hope to keep the gates open for many more years to come.
