Sona Boutique

My little shop is located on Pochamma Line at H No 2-4-186 here in Kagaznagar. It is not one of those big, bright stores you see in the city malls. Instead, it is a modest place where we keep our fabrics and do our tailoring work. The address is 504296 if you are looking for it on a map, but most local people just know the lane. I have spent many years here, surrounded by rolls of cloth and different colored threads. We usually have a lot of work when the wedding season starts or when there is a local festival coming up. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have several customers trying to look at materials at the same time. There are always stacks of clothes waiting to be picked up or altered. Sometimes the sewing machines get a bit loud, and we have to raise our voices to talk, but that is just how it is. We don't really do any fancy advertising. Most of our customers come because their neighbors or family members told them about us. It is just a local business where we try to do decent work. I spend my days measuring, cutting, and stitching. It is a lot of hours on my feet, and the shop can get a bit messy with all the scraps of fabric on the floor by evening. But we just sweep it up and start over again the next day.
