Rizwan Enterprises

Our shop is number four in the row at 3/193 in Bhainsa. Being here in Adilabad, we see a lot of different people coming through every day. It’s a compact space, so we have to be careful about where we put things or you’ll end up tripping over a crate. Rizwan Enterprises has been a part of this market for a while. We open up early in the morning, usually before the sun gets too high and the heat starts to bake the pavement outside. There is a lot of noise from the traffic on the main road, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have a couple of chairs for visitors, though they are a bit wobbly now. My cousin helps out most days, and we just spend our time managing the stock and talking to the regulars. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning and glass walls, just a practical place where work gets done. We keep a ledger for the accounts and write everything down by hand. Some people say we should modernize, but this system has worked for us for years. Adilabad is home, and this little shop is where we spend most of our waking hours. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to keep the doors open and the neighbors happy. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sorting through some new delivery.
