Ramesh Goods Transport

Ramesh started this transport thing out of our place at H. No. 3-35/1 here in Yapalguda. It is mostly just trucks coming and going when there is work to be done. We have been in this village for a long time, so everyone knows where the house is. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the big vehicles pull in, but that is just how it is with moving goods. Sometimes the weather makes things slow, especially when it rains hard and the tracks get muddy. We don't have a big office or anything fancy with air conditioning. It is just a desk, some logbooks, and the phone ringing. Usually, it's just about getting things from one spot to another without too much fuss. Ramesh handles most of the talking, and the drivers know the routes around Yapalguda well. We see a lot of the same faces every week. It is a lot of early mornings and late nights making sure the loads are tied down right. Some days are quieter than others, where we just sit and wait for the next call. The trucks need a lot of looking after, so there is always some grease or a tool lying around the yard. We just try to keep things moving along. It is a basic setup, really. No big signs, just the work getting done day by day from this little corner of the village.
