Rama Rao Transport

Rama Rao Transport is run out of our house at Hno. 1-193 in Wankidi. It’s not a big company with hundreds of trucks. We just have a few vehicles and we keep them moving as much as we can. Wankidi is a small place, so everyone knows where to find us. I spend a lot of my time on the phone, talking to drivers or people who need things moved. The trucks get very dusty from the roads around here. I try to keep them in good shape, but with the rain and the mud, it’s a constant battle. My office is just a desk in the corner with a lot of papers piled up. I don't use any fancy software for tracking anything. I just write every job down in a big ledger book. Sometimes the drivers get stuck in traffic or have a flat tire, and then my whole schedule for the day gets messed up. That’s just part of the transport business. We handle a lot of different loads, mostly for people right here in the area. My family has been in Wankidi for a long time. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of local guys who have been with us for years. It’s a simple life and we stay busy. We don't change much around here. We just keep the wheels turning and try to stay on schedule despite the rough roads.
