Orient Cements

We are located at E-117 in the Orient Cement Colony. This is over in the Adilabad district, specifically the Devapur area. Living in the colony means work is never really far away from our front door. You can see the Orient Cement Works from just about anywhere around here. It’s a big community of people who all do similar things for a living. We’ve lived in this house, E-117, for a while now. The streets in the colony are paved, and there are trees planted along the sides to keep things a bit cooler during the harsh summer months. Adilabad can get really dry and hot, so we appreciate any shade we can get. Most of us here have worked for Orient Cements for years and years. We know our neighbors well because we see them at the plant and then again when we go home in the evening. It’s a simple setup for families. We don't have much in the way of big city lights or fancy shops, but we have a good group of people who help each other out. The colony has its own way of functioning that everyone understands. We handle our tasks at the works and then come back here to rest. Life revolves around the production schedule and the shift timings. If the plant is busy, the whole colony feels it in the air. We use the 504218 code for all our letters. It’s a straightforward life without any complications. We just make the cement and keep going.
