Mamta Ayurvedic Clinic

Our place is located at 216 Asab Baba Nagar in Bhainsa. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, though you get the occasional motorbike zooming past. We deal with Ayurvedic stuff here, mostly herbs and oils that we keep on the shelves. The smell of the clinic is quite strong because of the different mixtures, but you get used to it after five minutes. We’ve got a small room where we talk to people and another area for the supplies. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but they’re fine for now. We mostly see locals from around Bhainsa who have been coming to us for years. It’s not a huge space, so if three or four people arrive at once, it feels a bit tight. We have a wooden table where we sit and write down notes. The fan overhead makes a bit of a clicking sound when it’s on high, but it keeps the air moving. We open up in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. Most of our day is spent measuring out things or talking to folks about how they’re feeling. It’s straightforward work. We don’t do any big advertising. People just find us by word of mouth or by walking past the shopfront in Asab Baba Nagar. It’s a decent place to work and we know the neighbors pretty well. We keep the kettle going for most of the day.
