Al Salam Enterprises

We operate Al Salam Enterprises from our place at 22/8-59 in Kobir, which is part of Nirmal. It’s a local business through and through. We deal with various supplies and general trade items. The building is an old one, but it serves our needs just fine. We have different things coming in and out all the time. It’s a bit of a family affair here. Everyone chips in when a big shipment arrives. We don't really have a marketing team or anything like that. Word of mouth has always been our main way of getting things done. People in the Kobir area know the address and they just drop by when they need something. We've been at 22/8-59 for many years now, and we've seen the street change quite a bit. There’s always some noise from the street, but you get used to it. We keep things pretty informal. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us sitting near the front desk or moving boxes in the back. We don't put on any acts or try to look bigger than we are. It’s just a small enterprise trying to provide what the community needs. We stay open until late most days because that’s when people have time to visit. It’s a steady rhythm we’ve got going. It might not be fancy, but it is our way of life here. We just handle the business and take each day as it comes.
