Abid Pan & Tea Shops

We are located in Kousar Nagar in Khagaznagar. It’s a small shop where we mostly sell pan and tea to people passing by. We start early in the morning to get the tea ready for the people heading to work. The stove is almost always going, and the smell of the tea leaves is something we’ve gotten very used to. We have a few jars of sweets and snacks on the counter as well. The pan is prepared fresh whenever someone asks for it. It’s not a big place, just enough room for us to stand behind the counter and for a few people to gather in the front. During the rainy season, people huddle under our small awning to stay dry while they drink their tea. We know most of the people in Kousar Nagar by face, if not by name. It’s a friendly kind of spot where people stop to chat for a few minutes before moving on with their day. We don’t have fancy furniture, just a couple of stools and the wooden counter. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't stop anyone from coming in. We’ve been here for years, and it’s just our daily routine now. Khagaznagar is a quiet place for the most part, and we are happy to be a small part of it. We just keep the tea hot and the pan ready for whoever walks by the shop today.
