Nenavath Shankar

I’m based over at H No 5-41/1 in Dubba Thanda. It’s in the Ainole Post area, which is part of Achampet Mandal. It’s a rural spot, quite far from the big cities. Life here is a bit slower, but we still work hard every day. My house is also where I handle my business. It’s a small place but it’s enough for what I need to do. Most of the people around here are neighbors and friends. We’ve lived in this thanda for a long time. There isn’t a lot of traffic, mostly just tractors and the occasional bus going through the mandal. I spend a lot of my time dealing with local matters and making sure everything is running okay. It’s not like working in a big office building. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the water is scarce, but we just adapt to it. I don't have a big staff or anything like that. It’s mostly just me and sometimes a family member helping out. We know everyone in the village. It’s a simple life. We wake up early and get to it. There’s always something to fix or a person to meet. It’s a lot of responsibility but I’ve been doing it this way for years. I don't really think about doing anything else. It's just home.
