L&T Construction

Our site for L&T Construction is located right near Kerveli Village. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here sometimes but we’ve made ourselves at home. Being close to the village means we see a lot of the local life while we are out on the job. The ground here can be tough to work with depending on the weather. When it rains, everything turns into a muddy mess and we have to wait it out or find ways to keep moving. We have our equipment parked out there and the crew is usually busy from sunrise. It’s a dusty place to be most days. We don't have a permanent building here, just our temporary setups while the project is ongoing. You won’t find any polished hallways or air-conditioned lobbies at this spot. We mostly talk about the daily progress and what materials are coming in next. The villagers sometimes stop by to see what’s happening. It’s a slow process sometimes, building things from the ground up, but we keep at it. We’ve got a mix of people working here, some from nearby and others who traveled for the work. We share meals and talk about our families back home when we have a break. It’s not a glamorous life but it’s honest work. We take pride in just putting in a full day's labor and seeing the structure slowly take shape near the village. We just keep building until it's finished.
