Durga Tent House

Ambaji Road is where you’ll find us, specifically in the Naya Khera part of the Ambaji Industrial Area. Durga Tent House has been operating here for a good while now. It is a bit of a dusty spot, being in an industrial zone, but it works for what we do. We store all the big tents, the heavy iron poles, and the stacks of chairs in the back. Most of our days are spent loading and unloading these things onto trucks. It is hard work, and our hands are usually pretty rough by the end of the shift. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things ready for weddings and local festivals. Sometimes the orders come in last minute and we have to scramble to get everything together. The wind can be a real pain when we’re setting up a big tent out in a field, but we’ve learned how to deal with it over the years. My cousins help me out, and we’ve become a pretty tight crew. We know the roads around this part of town like the back of our hands. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We are just a local business providing what the neighborhood needs for their celebrations. If you come by, you’ll probably see us sorting through fabric or fixing a broken pole. It’s just honest work and we keep at it day after day.
