Amar Handicrafts

Amar Handicrafts is out at G-82 in the Ambaji Industrial Area. We are right near Kalpas Marble which means there is always a lot of white dust in the air from the stone cutting. Our workshop is a big open space with a high roof. It gets very hot in the summer months and we have these big fans that just move the warm air around. We make all sorts of handicrafts here. It is a lot of physical labor and our hands are usually pretty dirty by the end of the shift. We have piles of wood and fabric and metal bits scattered around the floor. It looks like a mess to someone walking in but we know where everything is. The industrial area is not a pretty place but it is where the work gets done. There are trucks coming and going all day long and the sound of machines is just part of the background. We have a small office in the corner where we keep the books and the phone. It is mostly just a place to store things and put things together. We have been here for years and the gate has a bit of rust on it. We don't spend money on making the place look fancy because the focus is always on the items we are making. It is just a hard-working shop in a busy part of the industrial zone where we get things done.
