Hi Tech Rubber Works

Down at No. 111 Talpukur Road, you’ll find Hi Tech Rubber Works. It isn't a high-tech looking place despite the name; it's more of a workshop where things actually get made. We have some machines that have been running for years and they make a fair bit of noise during the day. The smell of rubber is pretty much always in the air here, so we don't even notice it anymore. We started out small and stayed that way because it's easier to manage things ourselves. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy with orders to worry about that. Talpukur Road is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when the delivery trucks come in. We spend a lot of time on the shop floor checking parts and making sure the dimensions are right. It’s hard work and your hands get dirty, but that’s just how it goes in this line of business. We don’t have a fancy website or anyone to handle public relations. If you need to talk to us, you just come to the shop and find one of us near the back. We take things as they come and try to keep our customers happy without any big corporate talk. It is a practical life here, just making rubber goods and keeping the machines moving on Talpukur Road. We keep the doors open for fresh air whenever it's not raining outside to help with the smell.
