Pavan'S Photography is right on Garia Station Road. If you know the area, you know how loud and busy it gets near the station. We’ve been here for a while, tucked away among all the other shops. Inside, it’s a bit quieter than the street. We have our cameras and some backdrops that have seen better days. Taking pictures started as a hobby and then it just turned into this business. We do a bit of everything, from family photos to just helping people get their ID shots done. The lighting in the shop is something we are always messing with to get it right. Garia Station Road has a life of its own, and sometimes we just stand at the door watching the crowds go by. We don't use any of those fancy marketing tricks. We just take the photos and hope people like how they look in the end. It’s a lot of sitting at the desk editing out shadows or fixing the colors on a computer screen. Some days are really slow and we just clean the lenses, and other days everyone wants a portrait at the same time. It’s a small space, so it gets cramped when a whole family comes in for a session. But we manage. It’s our little corner in Garia and we’ve gotten used to the noise of the trains. We just like capturing things as they are.
