Sky Moon Garments Private Limited

Out in the village of Amgachia, near Bishnupur, is where we finally set up our garment unit. It is a bit of a long drive from the center of Kolkata, since we are located in the South 24 Parganas district. The air is definitely a little bit clearer out here than in the crowded city streets. We have a decent-sized plot where we handle all of our production work. It is mostly sewing, cutting, and finishing various pieces. We have a lot of people from the local village working right alongside us. It honestly feels more like a small community than a regular corporate office. We do not have a fancy website or a big logo printed on everything we own. We just have our sewing machines and our hands to get the job done. The monsoon season can make the local roads a bit tricky to navigate, but we always manage to keep our delivery schedules on track. We mostly produce basic garments that people wear in their everyday lives. Nothing is too complicated about our process. We really like the quieter pace of life here in Amgachia. Sometimes we just sit outside during the lunch break and talk about the weather. We have built this business up slowly over many years. It is a steady way to live and work. We just keep our heads down and get the stitching finished.
