We've been at 22, Nutan Nagar for a while now. Most days it’s pretty loud here because the crushers are always running. You can hear them from the street when you walk by. It’s a messy business with all the stone and dust everywhere, but that’s just how it is. We spend most of our mornings checking the conveyor belts and making sure the trucks can get in and out of the gate without getting stuck. It’s a tight fit sometimes. We aren't some big fancy office. Our desks usually have a layer of dust on them even if we wipe them down. Our crew lives nearby so we all know each other. Some days the machines break down and we spend the whole afternoon covered in grease trying to fix them. It gets hot in the summer and the stone gets really warm to touch. We supply a lot of the local building projects. It’s just us working through the piles of rock every day. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the next load to arrive. If you come by, you’ll probably see a couple of trucks lined up. We just keep the wheels turning. It isn't much to look at but we get the job done. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we started here. The noise doesn't bother us anymore. We just focus on the orders we have for the week.
