We are based out in Batanagar, specifically at Chak Chandul Nangi. SADAGATI NIRMAN PRIVATE LIMITED is a small construction company that stays pretty local. We don't have a high-rise office or a fancy receptionist. Our workspace is more of a base of operations for the work we do in the field. There is usually a lot of mud on the floor because we are always coming back from various sites. We focus on getting buildings up and making sure they are solid. The area around Batanagar is growing, and we stay busy with all kinds of small and medium projects. Our team is just a handful of dedicated people who aren't afraid of hard work. We spend our time checking on foundations and making sure the cement mix is right. It is not the kind of job where you wear a suit. We are more comfortable in work shirts and boots. Sometimes the weather in West Bengal makes things difficult, like when the heavy rains start and we have to pause the outdoor work. We use that time to catch up on all the filing and planning we usually ignore. It is a very practical, hands-on way to make a living. We don't have a mission statement or any corporate fluff. We just build things and try to do a decent job of it every single day. We take life as it comes and keep our tools ready for the next job.
